Depending on the connection type.PIPELIFE produces two types of sprinkler irrigation systems. These pipes are manufactured from high-density special polyethylene in 5- and 6-meter lengths. Designed to prevent leakage even at low pressure, PIPELIFE polyethylene irrigation pipes ensure long-lasting, reliable performance under high pressure and in all types of terrain conditions — providing farmers with durable and efficient irrigation solutions for years of dependable use.
What Is a Sprinkler Irrigation System?
A sprinkler irrigation system consists of pipes equipped with nozzles or heads that spray water onto the soil surface in fine droplets under controlled pressure much like natural rainfall.
As one of today’s most modern and efficient irrigation methods, this system uses a device called a sprinkler to distribute water evenly through the air, simulating the effect of rain. In contrast to other irrigation methods where water is applied directly to the soil surface or below ground, sprinkler irrigation ensures uniform coverage across the field.Typically, a system consists of multiple sprinklers placed along the pipeline at predetermined intervals to achieve even water distribution. Each sprinkler is mounted on an extension pipe connected to a fitting known as an Abot, which is installed on the main pipeline. Through a ball valve located between the extension pipe and the sprinkler, individual sprinklers can be easily turned on or off when needed.
Sprinkler irrigation systems can generally be divided into three parts.
Portable Systems
In this system, the motor pump unit, main pipe, and laterals can be easily transported.
