DescriptionThe frost-protection heating cable with integrated thermostat is supplied in various lengths and heating powers. It prevents freezing of water pipes down to approx. -45 °C. The product is ready to use with a Schuko plug and is designed to be connected to a 230 V supply via a residual-current device (RCD).
Main features- Integrated frost thermostat (switch-on approx. +5 °C, switch-off approx. +13 °C)
- Schuko plug
- Supply voltage: 230 V
- Prevents freezing down to approx. -45 °C
- Available in multiple lengths with corresponding heating powers
- Do not shorten the cable: purchase the correct length; any excess length can be coiled around the pipe
- Apply on the underside of the pipe
- Do not bend the cable; observe the maximum bending radius (approx. 35 mm)
- Recommended fixing: insulating tape or aluminum adhesive tape
- For plastic pipes: wrap the pipe first with aluminum adhesive tape before installing the cable
- Maximum recommended insulation: 13 mm of insulating material above pipe and cable
- Do not insulate the thermostat; install it at the coldest point of the pipe for correct temperature detection
- Protection: avoid installation where animals graze and protect the cable from bites
- The water pipeline must always be connected to earth
