Description

The Duratool G400K grafting tool comes with three differently shaped blades: "U", "V" and "Omega". This hand-held, manual grafting tool is very easy to use and can cut wood up to 13mm in diameter. The front of the tool has light duty pruning blades that enable the user to cut off any unnecessary branches or leaves. How to use this grafting tool: - Hold the stem of the primary stock plant in the grafting tool and squeeze the handle to make the cut. (Make sure to cut the 'groove' into the primary plant). - Repeat this step to get a piece of grafting stock from the donor plant (ensure that the donor/secondary piece is cut in the right direction so that it fits into the groove of the primary piece i.e. the cut should be the opposite shape of the initial groove). - Once you have joined the pieces of plant material like 2 puzzle pieces fitting together, wind a piece of budding and grafting tape around the join to ensure a successful graft.
