Scorpion’s unique stabilization system is based on detecting the direction and position of the crane, and then pressing the rear frame in the direction of work. Add the exceptional triple frame structure and low ground pressure provided by eight wheels, as well as several other advanced solutions, and it comes as no surprise that Scorpion is remarkably comfortable to operate. The state-of-the-art stabilization system improves the machine’s stability significantly when working on one side – also when the machine is moving. Excellent movement and balanced weight distribution in all situations guarantee a low ground pressure, adding stability especially on slopes and in uneven terrain. The frame of the machine consists of three parts linked by rotating joints. The cabin and crane are located in the middle frame, which is kept hydraulically levelled, while the front and rear frames oscillate according to the terrain. The pivot point of lateral leveling is very low, which not only keeps the cabin straight, but also minimizes any lateral swaying and keeps the center of gravity at the center of the machine.
