Description

PONSSE H7euca is a new generation harvester head for debarking the trees during processing. The H7euca is based on long experience of the PONSSE harvester head family, the reliability and the excellent characteristics of the H7 harvester head and the experience of debarking requirements. The PONSSE H7euca harvester head represents state-of-the-art technology in eucalyptus harvesting, featuring high efficiency and reliability. Easily adjustable and service-friendly H7euca harvester head is optimised for debarking. The delimbing knives and feed rollers guarantee good debarking results during the first feed. The PONSSE H7euca is suitable for use in both wheeled harvesters and tracked machines. The automatic control of the PONSSE H7euca harvester head ensures that the wood is always fed at maximum speed to the right length. This considerably speeds up the harvesting operation. Automatic debarking of the tree butt makes working easier and helps prevent operator fatigue. The easy-to-use automatic features control the saw motion according to the tree diameter and blade position, and guarantee fast cutting. While it increases sawing efficiency, it also increases the service life of the blade and the chain. Saw control calibration is done simply by the push of a button. The tilt force and speed are based on its superb geometry. The motion is exceptionally smooth and soft, reducing the amount of strain directed to the harvester head.
