Felling head 2900

The 2900 Intermittent Disc Saw Head is based on a proven ring saw concept – 100’s sold worldwide. Substantial increase in power and speed with two UPGRADED DIN-Shaft F12-30 Motors, developing 150 hp (vs 96 hp for 2800). Rim speed is 750 rpm (450 rpm for 2800). Rated at 75 gpm and 2800 psi. Dual pinion (vs one for 2800) meaning longer pinion life. Can be equipped with 40-deg, 360-deg or 360VI tilt for added buncher versatility. No significant weight increase from smaller 2800 model. Operating Weight 6500 lbs(w/40-deg), 6900 lbs (w/360-deg), 7400 lbs (w/360VI). Uses replaceable bolt-on holders and larger rotatable 1-3/4″ kerf Quadco teeth.
