Rasspe knife assemblies are available for most combine brands with guard cutting systems. All assemblies come with attached knife heads. The knife assemblies are available with riveted or bolted sections, as a one piece knife or in sections. The sectionalized knife assemblies come with heat treated knife connectors, providing maximum stability and strength. Replacing individual sections or whole section assemblies of the knife are easy and no need to remove the whole knife assembly from the cutterbar. The bolted sections allow for that. The sections are fastened with flat round headed bolts and flange nuts. Sections are zinc plated. The maximal length of an individual knife assembly is 2.60 m for easy handling and transport by courier r transport company. The head and middle sections of the assemblies are always the same. Only the end sections vary in length, depending on the overall length of the complete knife. So it is easy and simple to make up knives of various length with a minimum of different sections in inventory.
