The AXIS 55 is the next generation two-disc fertilizer spreader from RAUCH. It combines high material throughput, precision automation and practical service features. Designed for large farms and contractors that require economical, precise spreading across narrow time windows.

Performance and main features
The AXIS 55 includes SpeedServo actuators, an improved metering and outlet system, EMC sensors to stabilise application rates from the field edge, a drawn hopper base for reliable material flow, and only three disc variants (including the AX4 disc) to cover working widths from 12 to 56 m. The design enables near-complete emptying down to the last grain.

OptiSpread – connected automation
OptiSpread turns the AXIS 55 into a connected precision system with fully automatic dosing and lateral distribution control. Sensors continuously monitor application rate, fertilizer properties, spread pattern, slope and boundary position. Functions such as HillControl stabilise lateral distribution on slopes, crests and hollows. Open digital architecture via XactMap, FieldEngine and agrirouter supports prescription maps, documentation and mixed-fleet integration.

Edge and boundary spreading
With the award-winning VarioSmart, the AXIS 55 offers a leading solution for boundary spreading of granular fertilizers without an additional TELIMAT. Combined with GSE X technology, it enables precise tramline protection and prevents granules in wheel tracks. Infinitely adjustable partial widths and OptiPoint pro+ calculate exact on/off points in headlands and document them automatically.

Comfort and maintenance
User comfort and serviceability: new hose hanger for independent top-link connection, integrated spirit level for correct alignment, sturdy ladder for safe hopper access and Big-Bag unloading, tilted parking position and parking rollers with brakes for easy movement and secure parking. Modular drive with accessible gearbox and hydraulic units plus large maintenance openings simplify cleaning and service.

Digitalisation and assistance systems
New electronics platform with high-performance onboard computer for real-time adjustment and AI applications. AXMAT-X generation with integrated contamination detection continuously monitors lateral distribution and signals cleaning needs. Optional AI camera with CCI terminal detects people in danger zones and warns the operator.

Design and options
Contemporary machine design with LED lighting for hopper and spreading unit, optional electrically operated cover with drying position, flexible mounting of guidance systems (left, right or both sides). Large hopper volumes and robust construction for high-area applications.
