This 3-hour curriculum is comprised of three lessons. With supplemental materials, this curriculum can be adapted to a longer

Goal:
To help participants learn the anatomy and physiology of the horse through a variety of activities and use of the horse model.
Synopsis:
This model and accompanying curriculum provide general anatomy and physiology information about the horse. This program will provide key anatomical terms, and functions of the external parts of a horse. The curriculum also provides information about equine digestive and reproductive systems. The lessons include facilitator instructions, slide presentations, and quizzes. The lessons and activities include objectives, materials required and approximate class time.
