When growing sunflower with a varying row spacing and a rugged relief of harvested fields, a good adjustment of harvesting units is needed. The universal Sun Stream series rowless header is designed to maximize the combine's performance in sunflower harvesting. They enable harvesting sunflower regardless of the row spacing, direction of sowing and variety.
Due to their low weight, while operating the same coverage as the row header, they guarantee a reduction in fuel consumption. Simple and robust design of the header guarantees long-term, reliable operation and allows use it for harvesting sunflower in any region where this crop is cultivated.
For harvesting confectionery seeds, as well as operations on weedy fields, designs with a pulling shaft and elongated dividers are offered.
Adapting to biological features
Customer-specific adjustable or non-adjustable lifters allow harvesting sunflowers of oil-bearing or confectionery varieties, considering maximum biological features of varieties and hybrids, as well as expanding the range of header applications
Working on slopes
The ability to adjust the angle of the lifters and the header itself (at the connection to the feeder house) allows working on fields with a slope up to 8° in any direction without losing the process quality
Pulling shaft
A special modification with elongated dividers was developed to exclude losses and clogging (especially for confectionery varieties). They have a larger clearance, and the pulling shaft located under the knife bar. This design solution allows you to cut the plants at the base of the head, preventing weeds and stems from entering the hopper
