The ROTADAIRON SD 700 Smart Seeder is a self-propelled turf seeding machine for precision seeding, seed burial and surface consolidation. It is an updated version of the SD 700 that retains ROTADAIRON turf-seeder components in a lighter frame for improved manoeuvrability. Suitable for common turf species such as Kentucky bluegrass, red fescue and perennial ryegrass. The front metal-mesh roller lifts and aerates the surface, the stainless-steel gravity seed drill deposits seed, the seed-burying rotor covers the seed and the smooth rear roller compacts the surface to promote uniform germination and minimise footprints. The machine is driven by the rear packer roller and is offered in petrol (Honda 4.5 HP) or electric (SD 700 E with EGO 2700 W) versions.
