Harvesting head EGS706

EGS706 is a robust harvesting head designed for Rottne H21, with a cutting diameter of 75 cm and a two-speed hydraulic tree feed (3.5 m/s or 5.2 m/s). A sturdy unit primarily designed for heavy final felling. Load-bearing wheel arms and five feeding rollers provide a steady grip even on the thickest stems, making it easier to process heavy trees. The feeding speed is automatically adjusted depending on the tree size, which increases production capacity when harvesting in smaller stands. Diameter measurement is done through a sensor in the upper branch knives and length measurement over a free rotating measuring wheel.
