The Samon enclosed topper is designed to handle large amounts of (foliage) haulm. The topper has three or four rotating shafts, each with two blades positioned diagonally behind each other. The haulm is discharged to the right by the displacement action of the blades. The specially shaped outlet ensures that the haulm is deposited in the tractor track so that it does not compromise the drying process of onions. The machine is available in widths from 1.50 to 2.25 metres. It comes standard with hydraulic height adjustment. It is available in front or rear mounted models, or as an integrated model.
