The feeding hopper is an industrial solution designed to deliver bulk materials to a downstream process in a continuous, controlled flow. This equipment is often used, for example, to feed a waste sorting and recovery line or to introduce materials into an industrial transformation process.
How the feeding hopper works and how it’s used.
Our feeding hoppers are made of steel. They have an inverted pyramid design to facilitate loading and buffer storage of materials. At the base of the hopper there is an extractor conveyor to collect the material and allow it to be fed progressively to the downstream installation. The adjustable speed of the conveyor and the height-adjustable outlet trap allow you to precisely control the flow rate to suit your needs.
The dosing hopper can be loaded using a bucket or a conveyor belt. To reduce the pressure exerted on the extractor conveyor, a load pick-up dome is installed inside the hopper. Depending on your needs, we offer the installation of sensors for precise and autonomous use of the equipment.
A custom-made solution that adapts to your operations and working environment.
Our feeding and dosing hoppers are custom-made. We work with you to define the dimensions, storage capacity, belt width and belt type to meet your needs and the characteristics of your product (powdered products, waste, sand, etc.). Whether you need fixed or mobile equipment, our feeding hoppers can be adapted to your operations and working environment.
Like our entire product range, the feeding hopper is a robust and durable piece of equipment, designed to withstand demanding conditions and ensure reliable operation over the long term.
