Description

KP58 Circular Sawmill destined for longitudinal log cutting uses a pair of horizontal saw blades (Ø 450, 500, 550 or 700) for untrimmed and trimmed planks, deals, blanks, prisms or final laths – palette, parquet, carpenter. However, it is mostly used for building lumber production. The KP58 Circular saws are supplied as a stationary model with or without hydraulic outfit. Double-shaft tooling enables the outstanding stability of saw blades and standard capacity, high accuracy of cut block dimensions and the best possible surface quality. Saw blades of the KP58 saw are standardly driven by two electric motors 2x15 kW (2x18,5kW or 2x22kW is as option). The accurate, computer controlled saw-cut dimension setting is a standard feature for higher operation comfort, accuracy the cut blocks, capacity as well as the highest possible surface quality. As the saw blades actually incise into the log centre and dirt is thrown outward the wood, when compare with other types of cutting mechanisms, the saw blade wear is minimal. The longer period between saw blades sharpening prolongs their working lives and minimises downtimes when saw blades are replaced, what guarantees much lower operational costs. That’s why the smaller amount of saw blades can be kept as spare parts. The standard equipment for hydraulic models, e.g. loader, tiltable centring hydraulic supports, turner, fixing device with adjustable height, is of a great help when the log needs to be positioned horizontally lengthwise
