Description

Our tree loppers are commercial grade pruning tools designed for making large cuts. The fine hickory or aluminum alloy handles offer a cushioned response to the cutting action, and are available in a variety of lengths. Made in the USA, these tree loppers are made of the very highest quality, are as much as 30 percent lighter than comparable loppers, and are designed for professionals making thousands of cuts every season. OPTIONS Hickory Handles: The hickory handles are oval-shaped in the cross section to give a greater strength-to-weight ratio. Aluminum Alloy Handles: The aircraft grade alloy steel heads and aluminum handles are the lightest available without sacrificing toughness or strength. STRENGTH By forging the lopping blade of top grade high-alloy steel, Hickok tools are stronger than other brands without the penalty of extra weight. We use an advanced computer controlled heat treating process, unique to Hickok and Vaca tools, to increase strength and durability. OPERATION The deep hook and strongly curved blade of Hickok loppers allow them to hold and slice through large branches with ease. Because these loppers are designed for continuous use on a daily basis, cutting efficiency is of the utmost importance. Our geometric design finely balances ease of cut without excessive arm movement for tireless operation. DURABILITY Blades, hooks, center bolts, handles and bumpers are all designed to withstand the demands of professional use. Hickok polyurethane bumpers last considerably longer than bumpers of other brands. The high alloy blades hold an edge and resist wear, thus increasing blade life.
