Bale wrapping offers flexibility in production, storage and feed quality. Wrapped bales are easy to handle and store and provide suitable preservation for winter feeding, while clamp or pit silage can expose more material to air when opened.

How many bales can a 1,500 m roll produce? If the film is stretched to 70%, a 1,500 m roll yields at least 22 bales when applying 6 layers. With 4 layers, you can reach about 33 bales (based on a round bale 1.22 m × 1.22 m).

Why prefer wrapped bales over clamp silage? Wrapped bales are easier to handle, store and transport and reduce the risk of spoilage once exposed to air compared with clamps or pits.
