Overview
OPTICA S from Tolsma‑Grisnich is an optical sorter designed for intake-line pre‑cleaning and quality control of potatoes. It removes loose soil, stones, clods and visible quality defects before produce enters storage to reduce contamination and improve downstream sorting efficiency.

Machine design & operation
OPTICA S is built for direct integration in intake lines and connection to a receiving hopper. A screen belt (designed to tolerate stones better than flat PVC belts) performs pre‑cleaning to protect the optical system and maintain a consistent product flow.
