About MYCOBOND®MYCOBOND® is a natural product composed of Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminium Silicate designed to mitigate the negative effects of mycotoxins in animals' feed or food products. It can be used for all animal species and also serves as a pellet binder and anti-caking agent.
Mechanism of actionMYCOBOND® works through electrostatic attraction to aluminium ions when mixed with feeds, binding or adsorbing mycotoxins in the digestive system of animals to prevent absorption into the bloodstream; the bound mycotoxins are then safely excreted.

Additional informationMycotoxicosis is a disease caused by fungal metabolites developing in raw feed materials (e.g. wheat, maize, barley, rye, forage), with higher incidence in warmer, humid regions. The severity of mycotoxicosis depends on mycotoxin type and concentration, exposure duration, species and age of animals, and general health and nutrition status.
