The Silocover silo roof is a flexible membrane cover designed to reduce CO2 and odour emissions and to exclude rainwater. Suitable for concrete, steel and plastic silos, it is offered in gas-tight and non-gas-tight variants. Manufactured from heavy-duty coated polyester, the system meets current environmental legislation and industry certifications.

Design & compliance
The cover is manufactured from heavy-duty polyester fabric coated on both sides to resist manure and aggressive substances and to withstand extreme weather. Each installation is structurally calculated for local wind and snow loads. The edge pipe and tensioning system transfers forces from the ridge plate to the silo circumference and allows re-tensioning. The product conforms to environmental legislation and structural engineering guidelines.

Installation & service
Silocover roofs are delivered ready for use. Installation is fast and adapted to each silo; inspection openings provide service access to mixers and internal equipment. Retensioning and maintenance access are integrated in the system design.
