The Cowcoon hybrid stall combines a hollow flexible plastic component with a supporting steel structure to provide controlled stability and improved lying comfort for cows. Available in multiple model variants for floor-mounted or post-mounted installation.

How it works
Design and product development are informed by detailed on-farm observation. Timelapse and slow-motion video analysis, pressure-sensitive pads and other measurement methods identify how cows interact with the cubicle so the hybrid design reduces spinal bumps and supports a natural getting-up motion.

• Are they made of plastic to save money? No. The plastic element is specifically shaped to increase comfort and reduce bruising and swelling, not to replace structural steel.
• Does the plastic just wrap around the steel? No. The plastic component is hollow so it can flex with the cow and provide cushioning; it is not merely a cover for the steel frame.
• Will the plastic break easily? No. The plastic has been engineered to withstand normal cow weight and farm use.
