Multifunctional use beyond harvestOur founder Michael never liked machines that are used only for a few weeks during harvest and remain idle for the rest of the year. The Berglady was developed as a further evolution of the Lady so the same base machine can be used also outside the harvest period. Thanks to its reinforced construction and predefined mounting points for optional attachments, the Berglady not only expands its harvesting capabilities but also enables various maintenance tasks to be performed throughout the year.
More power and stabilityThe Berglady features a stronger structure to safely carry heavier loads while maintaining stability. It is equipped with more powerful motors, optional reduction gearboxes and a 48V system, enabling it to handle loads of up to around 600 kg in some configurations. The longer wheelbase and wider track provide a solid base both when two people work on pedestals during harvest with a full fruit bin and when pruning on uneven or slippery ground. The machine can operate on slopes of up to around 40% with slope-levelling/slope-compensation; it can recover braking energy on descents to extend battery life in hilly orchards.
Platform and pedestals when neededInstead of a separate larger machine, the Berglady is designed so a platform or harvesting pedestals can be mounted when required. This allows the same base machine to perform different tasks throughout the season: the platform is mainly used for maintenance tasks such as pruning, tying, thinning and working on hail nets; harvesting pedestals enable picking in mid- and higher-tree areas. The platform variants include single-person and wide (two-person) versions and the pedestals are available for medium and higher area use.
Reaching higher picking zonesAttaching harvesting pedestals significantly increases the harvesting versatility. Depending on the configuration and slope, heights between approximately 2.30 m and 3.50 m can be reached. Pedestals can be adjusted to row widths that vary between about 2.20 m and 3.50 m depending on planting systems.
360° view and key featuresThe Berglady is offered with detailed 360° views and multiple images showing slope compensation, width adjustability, double wheels on front and rear axles (different wheels available), a longer base frame and adjustable picking box positions and heights.
