HydroBoost is a lignin-based, biological water-retaining biohydrogel formulated as an organic soil conditioner. Designed for agricultural, horticultural and landscaping applications, it stores water and progressively releases moisture to the root zone, reducing irrigation frequency and improving water availability for plants.

Dosage & application methods
  • Surface treatment (beds, raised beds): 250 g to 400 g per m²
  • New plantings (shrubs, perennials, flowers, vegetables, herbs): 20 g to 40 g per L of planting substrate
  • Large planting holes / trees (example trunk Ø 14/16 cm): approx. 3 kg per hole (guideline)
  • Injection technique: 200–400 g pure product per injection (example for trees)
  • Mixing (root protection example): mix 0.5–0.7 kg with 10 L water; wait 10–15 minutes, stir occasionally to allow absorption
  • Example: 400 g treats 15–20 L of substrate and can store up to ≈6 L of water
  • For some injection applications: 1:5 mixture with Terramol (site- and situation-dependent)
