These farm tanks facilitate the cooling, storage or maturing of milk. They can also be used for any other food liquid. They are ideal for farm or dairy use to hold milk or cream before processing. They can also be used to cool fruit juices or as buffer vats in the filtration stages of wine, alcohol and spirit production. A motorised stirrer maintains a homogenous liquid, and in particular avoids separation of the cream in milk. Technical sheet The tanks are insulated, and made of double-wall stainless steel. • For small-capacity tanks: For tanks from 50 to 300L the cooling system is positioned under the tank. The agitator is attached directly to the lid and has a safety sensor that stops it operating if the lid is opened. A spring can hold the lid closed or in the open unlocked position. • For large-capacity cylindrical tanks: They are equipped with a watertight manhole, one or more tank cleaning balls, a vent and a filling inlet for the liquid. The cooling system is positioned at the end of the tank, with a ladder providing access to the manhole.
