R | Roller conditioner The chevron roller conditioner crushes the fodder ensuring a gentle but effective treatment of even the most fragile crops, minimising leaf loss. Transmission. • Cast iron control support and transmission with conical "low-noise" gears in oil bath to ensure outstanding performance and endurance. • Clutch and free wheel to protect the transmission. Set up. The set up to adjust the Neva in operating position is carried out directly from the tractor's driving position by means of chromatic indicators. Cutting unit. • Cutter bar: with gears in oil bath and disc-holding flanges with torque limiter to protect the internal parts against accidental impacts. • Wear-resistant skids: made of steel to protect the bar and discs. • Baffles: situated in the blade overlap zones. • Discs with mud scraper flaps: to keep the cutter bar constantly clean. • Conveyor cones, mounted on the first and last disc, and adjustable tier boards to facilitate swathing of the cut grass. • Side protections: reclining to reduce the overall size of the machine when driving on the road. Roller conditioner. • Roller conditioner: made of polyurethane, lightweight with high abrasion resistance. • Chevron ribbing: allows the two rollers to work in an interlocking fashion, flattening the plant's stalk to allow rapid drying. • Upper swing roller: to protect the conditioner and keep it intact in the presence of foreign bodies.
