To meet these demands, Bellota presents an innovative concave disc with waves and a special super‑sharp edge for disc harrows, designed to achieve maximum cutting and soil penetration: VT‑REX.
Performance and Design
With 20 or 24 waves, the VT‑REX disc delivers an effect comparable to a disc with twice as many smaller notches as conventional discs. Both the wave geometry and the aggressive cutting edge allow the disc to offer a longer service life than traditional notched discs.
Soil Penetration and Wear Behaviour
The VT‑REX disc is especially recommended for soft soils. Its ability to cut residue efficiently enables deep soil penetration. In addition, as the cutting edge wears, it becomes even more aggressive, ensuring a longer disc service life without loss of performance.
Application: Vertical Tillage
