Optum® series tractors (270–435 HP) are high-performance agricultural tractors engineered for versatile field work including planting, tillage, hauling and heavy-mounted implements. Key features focus on fuel-efficient CVXDrive™ transmission, operator comfort, factory-integrated precision technology (subscription-free) and extended service intervals to reduce downtime.

Key New Highlights (Optum 360–440)

• New Cursor 9 8.7L engine delivering constant power up to 435 HP (Optum 440) with a class-leading 750‑hour engine service interval; improved low-idle performance and enhanced cooling.
• Upgraded CVXDrive™ 4x2 transmission with four mechanical forward ranges, Automatic Productivity Management (APM) and Active Hold Control for improved traction and driveline management.
• Higher transport speeds up to 37 mph (60 kph) to shorten field-to-field cycle times.
• Enhanced hydraulic capacity with up to 95 gpm twin-flow pump option and increased draw-off capability for demanding implements.

Integrated Technology
Every Optum tractor is precision-ready from the factory and includes integrated, subscription-free precision technology. Connectivity and advanced guidance functions are available via FieldOps and the Pro 1200 display.

Engine
Optum 270–340 models use proven FPT 6.7L engines. Optum 360–440 models introduce the Cursor 9 8.7L engine which maintains full power across engine speeds, delivers sustained torque, improved cooling for heavy loads and includes an engine brake for controlled deceleration.

Transmission (CVXDrive™)
The CVXDrive continuously variable transmission manages engine RPM and transmission ratios for precise ground speed control and optimized fuel efficiency. The system offers four forward and two reverse ranges with automatic seamless range shifts. Transport configurations provide 31 mph (50 kph) ECO or up to 37 mph (60 kph+) options. Operators can tailor responsiveness via the Pro 1200 display (acceleration/deceleration, shuttle sensitivity, transmission aggressiveness, drive pedal and multicontroller response).

MultiControl Armrest & Operator Controls
The MultiControl Armrest with MultiFunction Handle centralizes approximately 85% of key functions at the operator’s fingertips. The Pro 1200 with Vision Pro OS features a 12-inch touchscreen for machine setup and operation; Vector Pro accelerates guidance line acquisition.

Operator Environment
Redesigned cab with suspended front axle, cab suspension, semi-active air-ride seat and optional active leather seat to reduce vibration. Larger interior, increased storage, available cool box, additional window tinting and optional LED lighting packages (up to 22 LEDs) improve comfort and visibility.

PTO
In-cab electronically shiftable 4-speed rear PTO (540 / 540E / 1000 / 1000E). Optional two-speed front PTO (1000 / 1000E) electronically shiftable in-cab; ECO mode keeps PTO speeds at lower engine RPM to save fuel.

Axles & Suspension
Durable axle and suspension design maintains power to the ground. Standard class 4.75 suspended front axle provides smooth ride and traction; outboard planetary design supports high carrying capacity. Rear axle choices (112 in. or 119 in. bar) allow wheel spacing flexibility. Dual wheels available front and rear.

Hitches
Multiple rear hitch configurations for demanding three-point hitch tasks. Rear hitch lift capacity: 22,705 lb (Optum 270–340); up to 25,926 lb (Optum 360–440). Front hitch lift capacity: 9,892 lb (270–340); up to 12,800 lb (360–440).

Hydraulics
High-capacity hydraulic options deliver performance at lower engine RPM to save fuel. Configurations include four (standard) or five (optional) rear electronic remote valves and up to three mid-mount valves. Remote flow: standard max 43.6 gpm or optional 58 gpm PFC; single remote max flow 37 gpm. New electro-hydraulic remotes are easier to couple under pressure and configurable via the armrest with LED indicators.

Maintenance & Uptime
Serviceability is optimized with accessible maintenance points, fold-out radiators/coolers for cleaning and a wide filler opening for ground-level fueling. Long service intervals reduce downtime: 750‑hour engine oil change interval and 1,500‑hour transmission interval.

Max Protect (Support)
Max Protect for 2026+ Optum tractors bundles extended factory warranty (36 months or 3,000 hours), a 36-month/3,000-hour Max Maintain planned maintenance agreement and Max Service uptime assistance.
