Bolus guns are designed to administer tablets (antiparasitics, trace elements, vitamins, magnets, etc.) of various shapes and sizes to ruminants, from young animals to adults. The angled tube of the monobloc metal bolus gun allows for quick and easy insertion into the animal’s mouth; the bolus is simply pushed out by pressing the plunger rod. This bolus gun model is made from stainless steel and aluminum. The rubber part, tightly fitted to the tip, has a double function: Thanks to its elasticity, it allows a diameter variation, making the gun compatible with a wider range of tablet sizes. For example, a 24×30 gun can be used for tablets from 24 to 30 mm in diameter. It protects the rigid tube and prevents injury to the animals during bolus administration.
