Bolus guns are designed to administer tablets (antiparasitics, trace elements, vitamins, magnets, etc.) to ruminants, from young to adult animals.
The V-grip model is a version of the monobloc bolus gun, enhanced with an additional handle for greater comfort and easier bolus administration. All our bolus guns are manufactured in our workshop in France.
The handle is made from molded plastic. The tube, bolus-holder tip, and trigger return spring are made of stainless steel. An aluminum insert is added to the upper part of the handle to ensure long-lasting stability of the stainless-steel tube.
The tightly mounted rubber tip serves a dual purpose:
Its elasticity allows for diameter flexibility, enabling a wider range of tablet sizes to be used. For example, a 19/21 model accommodates tablets from 19 to 21 mm in diameter.
It protects the rigid part of the tube, helping to prevent injuries during bolus administration.
To adapt to species, animal age, and bolus size, different dimensions are available for single tips:
For Sheep: Tube length 150 mm
For Calves: Tube length 300 mm
For Adult Cattle: Tube length 500 mm
