Vertical is a revolutionary and innovative machine capable of harvesting arugula in bunches. This machine is designed for harvesting leafy vegetables in an orderly row in a vertical position, hence the name Vertical. The advantage lies in harvesting vegetables in bunches, both for small-leaf vegetables like baby leaf and larger-leaf varieties such as basil and parsley.
This machine is revolutionary because it is designed to harvest both broadcast-sown and row-sown vegetables in an orderly manner.
Like all patented creations by Dari Ecomeccanica, the Vertical can be equipped with sensors and devices for agriculture 4.0.
Until now, machines on the market allowed bunch harvesting only for mature vegetables with large leaves, but now it is possible to harvest baby leaf in bunches as well. This way, harvesting operations, which once required a lot of manual labor, are now fully mechanized, requiring only one operator on board.
Like all Dari Ecomeccanica machines, the Vertical can be powered by electric or internal combustion engines, upon specific customer request. Vertical is suitable for bunch harvesting of: arugula, coriander, spinach, baby spinach, parsley, basil, and many other plant species.

- Vertical moves slowly to cut and transport the vegetables in an orderly fashion; the operator can divide and bunch the vegetables.
