Overview
The modular design of the PRIOS 440 allows multiple equipment configurations and an intuitive operator interface. Soil preparation can be carried out with any active soil-working tool using a gooseneck drawbar with a false chassis and separate lift system. At the same time, fertiliser, granules, tuber and furrow treatment products can be applied and potatoes can be placed. The redesigned hybrid ridge former ensures ideal ridge formation and high flexibility for different ridge requirements on any soil. The TerraProtect system can be integrated for effective soil erosion protection. With a road transport width below 3.00 m, this is the first fully type-approved 4-row planter with complete European type approval. Optional packages include Clever Planting, Section Control and density modulation with application maps. Connection to myGRIMME simplifies recording and viewing of machine and field data. The intuitive control concept combined with the Smart View video system provides continuous overview of the machine’s key functions.
