Onion top-tailer

Onion build propelled cutter is a machine designed to clean onion from residues of soil, poorly adhering scales and dried chieves. Working part of the machine are cutting three knives driven by motors of 3,0 kW each. Each one of the motors has got up/down regulation and possibility of reducing of the blades rotation by using an inverter. THe onion is transmitted to a bin from which it is directed to the sieves. Three sieves are placed serially and over each of the sieves there are three rubber fans with mechanical adjustability of rotation that transports onion further on. This set can be hydraulically pulled up for a review and maintenance work. Severed onion remains, scales, and all the impurities are transported with the conveyor placed under the sieves, to the cross conveyor that collects also all the impurities directly form the intake hopper. Optionally, the cutter can be equipped with a separator of impurities instead of the hopper. Mechanical adjustability of the separator speed and inret-roller distance regulation allows for separation of the impurities and small onion before cutting it. - Separator of impuritiesi
