Product overviewThe Kongskilde OK Pipe systems are pipework solutions for pneumatic and mechanical conveying. The range delivers modular, galvanised steel components — including straight pipes, bends, branches, sealed two-way diverters, cyclones, outlets, reducers, couplings and flexible hoses — to build conveying routes between processing, storage and extraction equipment.
How OK Pipe systems workOK Pipe systems can operate under pressure or vacuum and connect to blowers, separators and other handling equipment. Components combine to create efficient routes around machinery and building layouts. Straight pipes are available in lengths up to 3 m to reduce joints and speed installation. Large-radius bends help maintain conveying capacity, reduce wear and limit material damage. Sealed two-way diverters direct flow under pressure or vacuum; cyclones separate solids from airflow.
Flexible connection optionsThe coupling concept allows repeated assembly and disassembly. Quick-release clamps enable fast replacement of worn parts, route adjustments or addition of branches/outlets with minimal downtime. Bolt clamps and permanent couplings are available for fixed installations, useful for mobile or frequently reconfigured systems.
Pipe options for different applications- OK 100: Standard 100 mm system; straight pipes in 0.75 mm galvanized sheet steel. Intended for pneumatic conveying, extraction and ventilation.
- OK 160: Standard 160 mm system; straight pipes in 0.9 mm galvanized sheet steel. Bends: 1.0 mm inner section and 1.5 mm outer section on the wear-exposed side.
- OK 200: Standard 200 mm system; straight pipes in 0.9 mm galvanized sheet steel; for higher-capacity pneumatic conveying, extraction and ventilation.
- OKR: Reinforced 160 mm system; straight pipes in 1.25 mm galvanized sheet steel. Bends: 1.0 mm inner section and 2.5 mm outer section for increased wear resistance.
- OKX 160 bends: Hardened, wear-resistant bends with up to 3× abrasion resistance; compatible with OK 160 dimensions and galvanized for outdoor use.
- OKD 160 and OKD 200: Extra-reinforced pipes/components for gravity-flow and downpipe systems.
- Sound-insulated pipes: Steel pipes with added insulation to damp vibration and reduce noise from material impact.
- Transparent butyrate pipes: Visual monitoring of material flow to ease blockage detection.
- Flexible hoses: Polyurethane and steel hose options for mobile suction points without dismantling the line.
- Multiple pipe lengths: Straight pipes available in several lengths up to 3 m (including shorter and telescopic sections).
Soundproof pipingFor noise-sensitive environments, OK 160 pipes and bends are available with sound insulation layers (bitumen and heat-shrink). These increase surface mass and dampen vibration from granules, pellets, parts and recycled materials striking the pipework, reducing noise by approximately 5–12 dB.
Benefits- Space-efficient modular layout: Components configure around existing equipment and adapt to production changes.
- Extended component life: Reinforced pipes and wear-resistant bends reduce wear in demanding applications.
- Fast installation and maintenance: Quick-release couplings and up to 3 m pipe lengths simplify assembly and replacement.
- Efficient material conveying: Smooth internal surfaces and large-radius bends help maintain airflow, limit capacity loss and reduce material damage.
- Complete option range: Standard, reinforced, sound-insulated, transparent and flexible pipes combine with diverters, transitions and cyclones for full-system design.
ApplicationsThe OK Pipe system is designed for pneumatic conveying of scrap, waste, raw materials and finished products across manufacturing sectors. Typical conveyed materials include granules, pellets, virgin resin, regrind, flakes, sprues, runners, edge trim, finished moulded parts, dust, paper trim and other lightweight production waste. Use cases include extraction from processing equipment and transfer between storage, processing and packing areas.
