The ever-increasing demands of the trade make it necessary for the fruit to be large and in perfect condition. This is the only way to achieve a higher price. Effective pre-sorting of the harvested fruit is therefore becoming increasingly important. With the help of the LIPCO picking arrangement, required quality criteria in size, shape and firmness can be variably set and achieved. Damaged fruit or fruit that is too small falls through the O-belts and is sorted out laterally via a guide plate. Three sorting and calibrating levels are possible. The width of the O-belts can be precisely adjusted via interchangeable spacer sleeves.
