The Spirmix L diet feeders 8 – 10 m3 are equipped with rear axle to provide a very low overall height and a perfect manoeuvrability, the mixer feeders are fitted with a vertical stepped auger that brews and aerates the mixture; they can feed about 40 to 65 dairy cows per pass. The rolled tank of the mixer feeder gives various advantages, it reduces the power required for making a mixture; the flared and smooth shape makes the ration homogeneous more rapidly. Easy to use, the Spirmix mixer feeders are perfectly suited to rations consisting mostly of silage. To facilitate distribution, the mixture slides on a flap located under the trapdoor to offset it from the axis of the tyre. The Spirmix L mixer wagons can be equipped as an option with the SystemX weighing system that guarantees a perfect accuracy for preparing rations.
