About
Capel-205 implements capillary electrophoresis (CE), a high-resolution separation technique for simultaneous determination of multiple analytes in aqueous and aqueous–organic samples. Short run times and high separation efficiency make the system suitable for environmental testing, food and beverage analysis, chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories, biochemistry and research.

Principle of operation
CE separates sample components by differential migration in a narrow fused-silica capillary under an electric field. Detection is performed by a sensitive optical system based on direct or indirect UV absorbance. The system supports main CE modes including capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) and capillary isoelectric focusing (CIEF).
