Helicon is the new toroidal blade developed by Segalés to transform industrial agitation systems in solids‑liquid tanks. Its geometry optimizes fluid movement and significantly improves mixture homogenization, even in demanding applications. Unlike conventional propellers, Helicon is designed to eliminate the so-called “tip effect”, a main cause of turbulence, energy losses and mechanical wear in traditional agitators.

Operation and benefits
Thanks to its toroidal structure, the blade achieves a more stable, uniform and efficient flow within the tank, reducing vortex formation and improving solids suspension.
