The MIAL tubular chain conveyor is a mechanized system designed for the safe and gentle transport of bulk materials, such as agri-food products, pet food, animal feed, pellets, TPE thermoplastic elastomers and many other products. Its operating principle is based on a chain equipped with circular discs, evenly spaced and firmly attached, which drag the material smoothly and continuously along the entire line. Thanks to this configuration, the conveyor guarantees precise and constant handling while protecting the integrity of the product. Material can be introduced through one or more loading hoppers and discharged at different points along the route, depending on the needs of the process. The fully enclosed design prevents external contamination and dust emissions, making it particularly suitable for industries where hygiene and product safety are essential, such as the food and chemical sectors. Compared to traditional solutions like pneumatic or screw conveyors, the MIAL tubular chain system offers outstanding energy efficiency. A single inverter-controlled motor is sufficient to cover long distances and multiple directional changes, optimising performance and reducing energy consumption by over 50%. This simplification of the layout not only minimises failure points but also ensures greater reliability and easier integration into existing plants. Another strong point is the low level of maintenance required. With fewer moving components and gentle, low-speed handling, vibrations and wear are kept to a minimum. All inspection and service points are centralised and easily accessible, while the use of high-quality AISI 304 stainless steel ensures long-lasting performance even in demanding operating conditions. The MIAL tubular chain conveyor is available in four different models to meet a wide range of production requirements. The ChainMove60 version, with a 60 mm drive unit and a capacity of up to 2 m³/h, is ideal for malt, cereals, feed, plastic materials and TPE. The ChainMove100, with a 100 mm diameter and a capacity of up to 12 m³/h, suits applications such as coffee beans, bulk ingredients and wood pellets. The ChainMove160, with a 160 mm diameter and 30 m³/h capacity, is designed for similar applications requiring higher throughput, while the largest model, the ChainMove200, with a 204 mm diameter and up to 60 m³/h capacity, is the solution for heavy-duty and high-volume operations. With its modular design, flexibility in layout and ability to handle products both vertically and horizontally, the MIAL tubular chain conveyor stands out as a modern alternative to conventional transport systems.
