Micron Weed Management sprayers provide thorough weed control around trees and shrubs, as well as along fences, paths and buildings. The Spraydome + range of sprayers is ideal for treating weeds in situations where a complete chemical barrier is required. The protective hood completely retains the spray, allowing you to work where chemical contact with the crop is critical, such as in young crops, and also allowing you to work in unfavourable wind conditions. The adjustable Spray-dome with extendable flaps has been specifically designed to treat weeds growing between the rows of trees. They are particularly suitable for use on almond, pistachio, walnut and other tree crops. The range includes a selection of adjustable models that can spray widths from 1.5m to 4.9m. For larger spacings, Spray-dome or Spray-flex hoods can be added on each side which can increase the working width by up to an additional 2.3m, allowing lanes of 7.2m to be sprayed. S-dome + 3049 sprayer, with 120cm hoods, working in an almond grove with 6x5m lanes. Components The complete units are equipped with a tank system consisting of a 240-litre main tank, a 20-litre auxiliary tank for cleaning the machine and a 20-litre hand-washing tank. The stopcock system allows you to clean the machine after each application without having to empty the main tank. There is also a lance for cleaning the inside of the main tank once it has been emptied. Thanks to the ultra-low volume technology, a 240-litre tank can provide an operating range of between 8 hectares for narrow frames of 3m, up to 18-20 hectares when treating with the widest frames of 7m.
