White UVI Polythene cover offering partial shade and improved overnight heat retention for horticultural tunnels, plant nurseries, livestock housing and general storage. Product combines diffusion and thermal properties to reduce daytime temperatures while helping maintain higher night temperatures.

Product details
Suitable for crops and plants that benefit from reduced daytime heat such as nursery stock, ferns and conifers. Also appropriate for overwintering hardy shrubs and for hardening off. Marketed light transmission is 60–70% to provide shade where required; however the current supplier batch is supplied at approximately 30% light transmission which is more suited to livestock housing and general storage than retail plant display.

How much polythene do you need?
Allowances should be included for trenching or fixing method when calculating required sheet width and length. Consider overlap, end returns and any side-fixing requirements.
