Overview Aluminium covers CVCa type are used in water treatment plants for treatment tanks to protect the contents from external contaminations such as bad weather, dust and leaves, and to protect the nearby environment from unpleasant odours emitted by the tank contents. They are suitable for both quadrangular and circular tanks.
When to use them Used on treatment tanks where protection from external contamination and odour containment are required; applicable to both quadrangular and circular basins.
How they are made The covers are made of tiles which fit together to create a rigid roof. They can be designed to be walkable on request. The system is suitable for air-tightness close to atmospheric pressure and is able to withstand typical loads such as wind, snow and seismic actions.
Applications For quadrangular basins, tiles with usable span that can vary continuously from 1 to 20 meters can be supplied. For circular basins, tiles with usable span that can cover a variable diameter from 6 to 48 meters can be supplied.
