Description
Overview
The TSB industrial sweep auger, designed by Silos Córdoba, is optimized for the efficient emptying of flat-bottom silos while preserving grain integrity for daily use throughout the year. Manufactured from galvanized steel sheets (S350GD or S450GD) with a Z-600 metal coating, the unit is suitable for a wide range of grains, seeds, legumes and pellets.

Construction and sections
HEAD SECTION
The electric motor is vertically positioned on the rotational axis and transmits motion directly to the continuous screw. This layout removes the need for chains or belts, reducing wear, heat emission and the risk of sparks. The motor and right-angle gearbox are enclosed within a protective housing.
INTERMEDIATE SECTIONS
Intermediate sections are designed to minimise residual product after gravity discharge and to ease machine startup. They include flow-control windows and are reinforced with stiffeners to increase torsional resistance.
TAIL SECTION
The wheel in the tail section is driven by surplus torque delivered by the auger, assisting material displacement toward the outlet.
