Overview
Trailed two-rotor rakes with the SIP-patented walking tandem axle enable smooth, clean raking and form one or two side swaths.

PIVOTING LINKAGE
Transport frame with 2-point pivoting hitch Cat. II and a large turning angle of 155°.

ROBUST DRIVELINE SYSTEM
The driveline consists of a wide-angle-joint input PTO shaft, two gears, and an integrated free-running clutch for smooth machine shutdown. Smaller angles on the PTOs allow for long-lasting operation.

EXCELLENT GROUND ADAPTATION
The 3D-mounting of the rotors ensures excellent ground adaptation. The working height is mechanically adjusted with a convenient scale. Mechanical spring relief is available to optimise rotor suspension on softer terrain.

SWATH CURTAIN
Mechanical rear swath curtain allowing adjustment of the swath width from 0.6 to 1.35 m. When using the curtain, rotor stabilisation is improved with a spring. Hydraulic folding is available as an option.

ADDITIONAL SWATH CURTAIN
Possibility to create two swaths with the STAR R 760|22 TS using an additional swath curtain on the front rotor (optional equipment).

WORKING WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
Hydraulic working width adjustment for STAR R 760|22 TS from 6.38 m (single swath) to 7.6 m (two swaths). For STAR R 640|22 TS the working width adjustment is fixed and allows the formation of a single swath.

ROTOR CHASSIS
The tandem chassis, combined with the 3-D rotor mounting, allows for excellent ground tracking on uneven terrain. There is also a chassis variant with tandem chassis at the front and single wheels at the rear.

EASY PASSAGE OVER SWATHS
The high rear axle of the transport frame offers more room for manoeuvre when crossing over swaths. Weights are fitted as standard on the left wheel for greater stability when working on an incline.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Easy storage of hydraulic connections. STAR R 760|22 TS: 1x single-acting (1SA) and 1x double-acting (1DA) for hydraulic rotor lift and working width adjustment. STAR R 640|22 TS: 1x single-acting (1SA) for hydraulic rotor lift.

EASY TRANSPORT
The machine is agile and easy to transport with a transport width of 2.5 m. Even with the spring tines-arms fitted, it does not exceed 4 m in height.
