- Function: The TERRAL mechanical auger is designed to drill holes in soil for planting, fencing or stump removal; its generous chassis clearance allows operation within vineyards and narrow plantations.
- Use: Suitable for viticulture, arboriculture, livestock fencing and general agricultural or landscaping tasks. The reinforced bevel gearbox makes it compatible with stony and mixed soils.
- How it works: Slow rotation of the auger combined with controlled descent progressively excavates the hole and removes old rootstock; hydraulic offset and tilt options increase positioning precision.
- Hitch: Rear-mounted only on tractors due to boom length; can be used with a front crate to deposit uprooted vines or stakes. Tool mass recommends rear hitching.
- Feed rate: Variable depending on hole count and soil type encountered.
