Overview
WM-Survey II™ is a free-to-download mobile application designed to simplify basic field surveys for agricultural land management. It automates creation of terrace and waterway cross-section profiles and can auto-create rice levee designs. The app also generates 3D surface control files and navigational guidance lines for compatible displays, enabling land forming work to start on-site without waiting for office-based designs.

Optional Advanced Features
Terrace and Waterway Designs
Use the guided five-step workflow to automatically create basic terrace or waterway designs that divert water to prevent erosion and ponding. The app auto-generates 3D control files and feature-line guidance files for compatible displays so land forming can begin immediately.

Rice Levee Designs
The rice levee workflow uses a four-step guided process to create levee designs based on field elevation and target specifications. Feature-line guidance files are exported upon design creation to support timely levee installation and reduce the gap between design and implementation.

Why conduct a survey?
Field surveys provide elevation and positional data needed to plan land forming, grading and drainage for agricultural sites. With WM-Survey II™ and a compatible GNSS receiver you can record elevation points to produce a topographic or survey map for downstream design workflows.

Features / Technical specifications

• Phones and tablet compatibility: Android version 12 and above is recommended, with GNSS receiver connected via Bluetooth®.
• Not compatible with Apple products at this time.
• PTx Trimble display compatibility (via App Central): compatible with GFX-750™, GFX-1060™, and GFX-1260™ displays when connected to NAV-900 or NAV-960 guidance controllers for high-precision surveys.
• Design features are not available on PTx Trimble displays; RTK correction is preferred for surveys to ensure a high-accuracy topographic map.
