Short description
The Mobile Blow Out identifies and extracts missing or non-conforming plugs from seedling trays to prepare trays for manual correction. Production speed is up to 600 trays per hour, accommodating standard plug tray formats.

Operation
Operators place trays with young plants manually into the machine. Trays are inspected by TTA-ISO's in-house imaging system. Selection rules for plant material are configurable and can be adapted to plant species and growing conditions.

• Configurable selection parameters: plant size, plant colour, plug position in the cell, etc.

Blow-out section
After identification, NOK plugs are removed by air nozzles that blow plugs out of the tray from below. Single plugs are ejected depending on the selection settings. The blow-out section is quickly adaptable to another tray size via an interchangeable blow-out bar. The machine includes one complete tray setup and removed plugs are routed sideways into two collection boxes. All standard tray sizes are supported (maximum tray size: 600 x 400 mm). Complete tray changeover time is under 15 minutes. Plug tray settings can be saved in machine memory. The imaging system runs on Windows and is designed for straightforward operation.
