Overview
The PlugPlanter Chrysant is an automated planter for chrysanthemums that inserts soil plugs into production beds to accelerate establishment and root development.

Description
The machine picks soil plugs from trays and inserts them gently into the ground instead of using press pots. Soil plugs root more readily and faster than press pots and are peat-free, supporting a natural rooting process. Precise insertion minimizes root injury and improves early establishment, shortening the crop cycle and increasing yield per square metre.

Benefits and performance
Improved root development produces more uniform plant growth and reduces crop failures and lagging, increasing the share of A-quality flowers. Reduced susceptibility to Pythium can lower or eliminate pesticide treatments. High planting throughput increases operational efficiency.
