Optical speed sensor (laser tachometer) for Balanset-1A and Balanset-4, giving rotor speed and phase reference when balancing mulchers, fans and PTO shafts. Not a standalone handheld tachometer.
It connects to the Balanset unit by cable. One optical sensor comes with every Balanset-1A kit (Full Kit and OEM) and with Balanset-4. It is also sold separately as a spare or replacement.

• Laser: Class 2 — do not stare into the beam

Works with reflective tape on the rotor; a magnetic stand holds the sensor in position.
Typical agricultural use: balancing of mulcher and flail mower rotors, straw choppers, threshing drums, augers, grain-dryer fans, hammer and feed mills and forage-harvester cutterheads with Balanset-1A; PTO and cardan shafts with Balanset-4.
