OverviewZAflow uses a hexagonal honeycomb-inspired structure to guide and conduct incoming air into the impeller of centrifugal fans. The geometry minimizes airflow blockage while improving uniformity of the inflow, making it suitable for confined installation spaces where direct airflow to the impeller is obstructed.
Product specificationCentrifugal fans are more sensitive to disturbances on the suction side than on the pressure side. ZAflow improves the inflow to the impeller in constrained installation conditions, which can reduce overall noise emissions. Field measurements indicate typical reductions of total sound level by approximately 3–6 dB when ZAflow is effective. If no measurable improvement occurs, the existing installation is likely already adequate and ZAflow is not required. When advantageous, ZAflow can be mounted quickly and handled without special tools, providing a fast retrofit solution for flow optimisation.
