Quem somos?
About us :
Thanks to 75 years of experience, Barbarie palox is considered as the French leader of wooden boxes manufacturing for fruits and vegetables.
Barbarie Palox designs its bins with French fresh pine (1 to 2 months) from forests located close to the production site in Dordogne.
Machining and assembling are essentially realized on the production site.
More than 40.000m3 of wood are transformed into bins each year.
30% of the production is dedicated to export with different countries such as Chile, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Mali, Mongolia, Mauritius, Algeria, Morocco, Europe. Our bins respect the ISPM15 treatment, agreements : FR AQ 10169 and FR AQ 10213.
Our history :
1949 : Creation of an artisanal carpentry by Robert Barbarie.
1990 : Development of potato bins' market with machined and specific products. On the other hand, development of export sales with different destination countries : Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Israel.
2000 : Transformation of Barbarie SA into Barbarie SAS and creation of a holding gathering Barbarie Palox and Marquet Palettes.
2020 : Barbarie Palox and Marquet Palettes are following their development and were joined by new Sylvatek's subsisdiaries : Sipalex Emballages (2018), Sylvatrade Négoce (2019) and Beynel Palox (2020).

A MANUFACTURE MADE IN FRANCE : From R&D to assembling, all our bins are manufactured in Dordogne, France.
GOAL - DEFECTLESS PRODUCTS : Barbarie Palox commits itself in a high quality level. Our goal is to make all of our customers entirely satisfied.
ROBUSTNESS : Sometimes copied but never equaled, our bins are assembled with French maritime pine, a high quality wood, using tried-and-tested technical processes. With good using conditions, you will keep your bins for many long years.
SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT : Our bins are manufactured with wood from sustainable forests. We are using French wood from the "Massif des Landes de Gascogne".
INNOVATION : With the passing years, Barbarie Palox always tried to innovate in order to meet the growing needs of the agricultural field. Our R&D department is always looking for the best storage stolutions.
